Privacy policy
This policy describes how Sardo collects and processes personal data of visitors to this website, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Last updated: October 2026
Data controller
The controller of personal data is Sardo, with the details shown in the site footer. For any questions about data processing, reach us through the details on the Contact page.
What we collect
Through the contact form we collect your name, email address and — if you choose to provide it — your phone number, along with the content of your message.
Cookies and analytics
Only with your consent do we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) for anonymous visit statistics: number of visits, pages viewed, device type and approximate country- or city-level location. Google Analytics sets _ga cookies for this, which last up to 24 months. We do not use this data for advertising or profiling.
Until you consent, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer; the _ga cookies are then deleted.
We remember your choice in your browser (local storage, key sardo_kolacici) so we do not ask on every visit.
Purpose and legal basis
Data from the contact form is processed solely to answer your enquiry and for any follow-up business communication. The legal basis is your consent, or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
Retention
Enquiry data is kept for at most 24 months after the last communication, unless the enquiry leads to a contractual relationship, in which case statutory accounting and tax retention periods apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, and to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
